Crafted by local artist Rex Brodie, the display case was made possible by a grant from the Amiel P. Zak Fund. The display is now located on the courtyard floor of our Kent Memorial Library.
The goal for this display case is to help residents appreciate history more and develop a deeper sense of place for our town. As residents select and reflect on the materials in this display case, we will all be reminded that sharing a collected past is just one of the ties that bind us as a community.
Amiel P. Zak Public Service Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving supports nonprofits serving the residents of Suffield, CT. Grants are made for projects that will address basic needs or improve the quality of life for residents in Suffield.
